A Message From Your Principal - Thanks fora Great School YearDear Central Families,What a fantastic year this has been at Central Elementary! Thank you foryour endless support of our Central Tiger Cubs by volunteering in theclassroom, chaperoning �eld trips, reading at home with your child, andpartnering with our Central faculty to bring the best possible learningopportunities to our students. The strength of our Central communityand the passion you share helps make our school a special place to be. The month of May has been a �urry of activities that have included exceptional study trip experiences,such as Chicago for our 5th graders. We’ve celebrated with our students, honoring their academicgrowth and achievements throughout the school year. Also, we found time to “Sharpen the Saw”during our annual Field Day in the �nal days of school! Thank you ALL for attending our Leader in Me Family Night cookout in May and enjoy some of thepictures below from that event. Central's Literacy Challenge - 5,000 Books in 50 Days!We launched our reading marathon to read 5,000 Books in 50 Days on, Monday, March 11th, and weconcluded on Friday, May 24th! Central �nished the challenge reading over 6,500 books and earnedthe reward of duct taping Mrs. Outcalt and Mr. Salsman to the wall. Great job and keep reading overthe summer.

Eyeglasses FoundWe have a lonely pair of eyeglasses that someone must be missing.If these belong to your student the Central O�ce is open until nooneach day from now until mid-June.
iRead, iLearn, NWEAThe Central Elementary did a great job during the testing season.Thank you to all the students for great attendance and for workingso hard on each and every test.
Report CardsReport cards will be posted on Wednesday, June 5th. Summer Operating Hours for the Central O�ceThe Central o�ce closes for a short summer break as of June 19th andwill re-open July 22nd.
