This course will also take an in-depth look at procedural ultrasound to gain understanding of the proven techniques to get the needle where it needs to go as safely as possible. This course is a collaborative effort by the Association of Physicians in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and the Society of Point-of-Care Ultrasound with the goal of providing exceptional didactic lectures with scanning labs mentored by physician assistants that are leaders in the field of point-of-care ultrasound.

Objectives: - Understanding Why Point-of Care Ultrasound is Becoming the “New Normal”

In Modern Medicine and Why It Offers a Significant Advancement in the Ability to Diagnose and Assess Patients at the Bedside.
