BUCKINGHAM PALACE

Buckingham Palace is one of the best buildings in England. It is in London and there lives the Queen Isabel II.

The palace was built since 1703 to 1826 and at the beginning it was a hotel.

The original early 19th century interior designs gives elegancy to the palace.

The decoration has got cream and gold tones and some rooms are decorated with chinese style furniture.

The palace’s got the biggest garden in London. It is full of plants, there are 350 different types of wild flowers.

There is a beautiful and incredible artificial lake too.

The royal guard protects the palace all day. They wear a red and black uniform and a big black helmet made with black bear’s hair.

Everyday since May to July and the rest of the months each two days at 11:30 the royal guard changes. That is one of the most important turistic attraction in London, million of people goes to Buckingham at this time for see it.

In the front of the palace there is a monument of the Queen Victoria who was the first to live in it.

When the Queen Isabel goes to the palace everybody knows it, because there is a flag waving at the top of the building.

We stayed there two years ago.

In our opinion the palace is incredible and very beautiful. Everybody who travels to London should visit it and know its history. Seeing this landmark worth it.
