Welcome Everyone!We would like to invite everyone to our annual bull sale Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at our farm 9 miles south of Langenburg on #8 and 3 miles east of the Bar-H sign.

We have always been excited and enjoyed the livestock business but the current cattle economy gives us even more reason to enjoy what we do. If we are excited about the cattle industry we are even more excited about the Black Angus seed stock industry. I don’t know if there has ever been a time in history where there has been so many good genetics with so many tools to use and so many outstanding individuals to pick from. Calving ease and birth weight, performance, frame, feedlot efficiency, maternal and the all important quality end product for the consumer. The Black Angus breed has positioned itself to be all things to all cattlemen regardless of your particular need or market.

The two year old bulls we have on offer have been managed for longevity and soundness. All bulls selling have been weaned without any creep and the two year olds were brought through last winter with 5 pounds of pellets/day and all the tame hay they wanted. The goal was not to attain big yearling weights but rather to grow the bulls out naturally to their genetic potential. We believe we have a bull for everyone regardless the size of your operation, be it 10 cows or 1000 and we’ll be here to serve you and treat everyone with the same equal value that you deserve.

We measure every possible trait we can to help you make your decision easier and hopefully your results will be successful, that is our goal, your success.

Balancer was retained for service in our program to improve rib shape and width of hip. His mother is a big bodied, square made cow who is still in production at 12 years of age. Here is a Balancer son that may well be the longest bodied bull in the sale. Check out his performance numbers. He has always been a heavy weight.

This is a very nice made Balancer son with a very low birth weight. He really has a nice design to him with an ideal muscle pattern.

Here is a Titlest son who reads extremely well on all his EPD’s. Low birth, high growth, excellent carcass numbers. If you’re wanting to add some ribeye in your cattle look at this guy. He is in the top 10%. Heifer qualified.

Here is a tank of a Titlest son. Deep bodied, long bodied and full of meat. He comes from a cow family that is full of high quality udders. Grandmother Allegra 40M was a foundation Angus cow here with many daughters in the herd. Heifer qualified.

Big time, big framed, power bull here. This will be the last of the Done Deal sons to sell. His mother 196S is a moderate framed deep bodied easy fleshing cow with a very nice udder. Full sister was a successful part of our show team in 2013.

This Balancer son will turn some heads sale day. He is moderate in frame and is so smooth and in his makeup that you just have to appreciate him. His mother is a very good cow.
