All pumps that can operate at 2 pole speedhave a close tolerance stuffing box bush fitted. Impeller

Double shrouded type is hydraulicallybalanced and positively driven byshaft key and axially locked betweensleeve and impeller nut.

ShaftA domed type locking nut seats thestainless steel shaft at the impellerOnly 4 shafts are required to coverwhole 37 sizes and reducesinventory to a minimum.

Bearing HousingRugged cast iron construction withonly three bearing housings coveringcomplete range of pumps which givesmany common interchangeable parts

BearingsBearings on 33 sizes are greaselubricated-sealed for life.4 sizes have oil lubricated bearingsand for this arrangement the housing includes an oil level sight glass and vent.

Support FootEach pump has aremovable support footfitted at drive end forgreater rigidity.

Wear RingsReplaceable wear rings are fittedas standard to all casings andalso to back covers on larger pumps which reducesmaintenance time and cost.

Shaft SleeveFully machined hook typeshaft sleeve prevents shaftdamage under the glandpacking which substantiallyreduces maintenance costs.

CasingThe cast iron volute casing is of robustdesign with integrally cast feet, verticaltop centreline discharge with axialsuction incorporating cast inlet vane togive best flow to impeller eye.
