DEATHTRAP By Ira Levin January 29-February 14

Seemingly comfortably ensconced in his charming Connecticut home, Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, is struggling to overcome a "dry" spell

which has resulted in a string of failures and a shortage of funds. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student —a thriller which

Sidney immediately recognizes as a potential Broadway hit. Sidney's plan is to offer collaboration to the student, an idea which the younger man quickly accepts.

Thereafter suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness, and with such an abundance of thrills and laughter, that audiences

will be held enthralled until the final, startling moments of the play.

THE LARAMIE PROJECT By Moisés Kaufman and the Members of Tectonic Theater Project March 5 & March 6 ONLY!

In October 1998, a 21 year-old student at the University of Wyoming was kidnapped, severely beaten, and left tied to a fence in the middle of the prairie outside

Laramie, Wyoming. His bloody, bruised, and battered body was not discovered until the next day, and he died several days later. His name was Matthew Shepard, and

he was the victim of this assault because he was gay. Kaufman and Tectonic Theater have constructed a deeply moving theatrical experience from interviews and

personal experiences in Laramie. The project is a fundraiser in collaboration with CAMP Rehoboth, our local community center.

ANYTHING GOES Music and Lyrics By Cole Porter; Book By Timothy Crouse and John Weidman March 18-April 3

The age-old tale of Boy-Meets-Girl and the complications which ensue intrigue every audience, and no musical puts it on stage better than ANYTHING GOES. This

show is an amusing story wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s magical scores including songs like “It’s De-Lovely”, “Friendship”, “I Get A Kick Out Of You”, “All

Through The Night”, “Anything Goes”, “You’re The Top”, and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow”. Sure to be a literal toe-tapper, ANYTHING GOES is a show not to be missed!

INTO THE WOODS JR Book By James Lapine; Music and Lyrics By Stephen Sondheim April 15-April17

Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk), and the Witch—meet and interact in this whimsical original story. The musical centers on a baker and his

wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the king's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn

that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and wind up changed forever.

THE 25th ANNUAL PUTMAN COUNTY SPELLING BEE Music and Lyrics By William Finn; Book By Rachel Sheinkin May 6-May 22

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home life, the tweens spell their way through a series of [potentially made-up] words hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.

CHESAPEAKE By Lee Blessing June 3-June 5

An art-loving performer, an art-hating Senator, and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever all clash in this funny, touching, and surprising story, written by Lee Blessing (A Walk

in the Woods). When a grant recipient named Kerr becomes the central focus of a conservative politician's campaign to defund the arts, Kerr decides to make a

protest piece. His subject? The politician's beloved four-legged sidekick. This one-man show is a tale with a tail, about art, passion, politics, friendship, faith, and

humanity. Performed by Andrew Criss (Lips Together, Teeth Apart).

PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT Book by Stephan Elliott & Allan Scott; Based on the Latent Image/Specific Films June 23-September 3

Based on the smash-hit movie, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT is the heartwarming, uplifting adventure of three friends, Tick, Bernadette and Adam (two drag

queens and a transsexual), who take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. Aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) they search for love and

friendship and end up finding more than they ever could have dreamed. With a hit parade of dancefloor favorites including "It’s Raining Men”, “I Will Survive”, “Hot

Stuff”, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, and “I Love The Nightlife”, this wildly fresh and funny musical is a journey to the heart of FABULOUS!

SHREK Music By Jeanine Tesori; Book and Lyrics By David Lindsay-Abaire; Based on the Dreamworks Film June 29-September 1

Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek. This musical adventure features all the beloved characters you know from the film brought to life on stage.

HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE By Paula Vogel September 23-October 9

A wildly funny, surprising and devastating tale of survival as seen through the lens of a troubling relationship between a young girl and an older man. HOW I

LEARNED TO DRIVE is the story of a woman who learns the rules of the road and life from behind the wheel. Winner of the 1998 Pulitzer Prize, this play “is a potent

and convincing comment on a taboo subject, and its impact sneaks up on its audience.”

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR Music By Alan Menken; Lyrics By Howard Ashman & Tim Rice; Book By Linda Woolverton November 11-13
