BLOSSOMS

BLOSSOMS is an educational project of MIT, aimed at high

school classes in Science, Technology, Engineering and

Mathematics (“STEM”). BLOSSOMS =

Creates interactive video lessons for high school STEM

classes

To excite young people about math, science & engineering,

and STEM careers

To show relevance of science and mathematics to their real

world(“STEM”). BLOSSOMS = Blended Learning Open Source

Science Or Math Studies.

To develop critical and creative thinking skills, moving away from rote memorization and

teaching to a test

Introduce the in-class teacher to technology-enabled

education in a supportive way that allows her/him to stay in

charge of the class

awareness, understanding and appreciation for other

cultures

Facilitate limited faculty visitations to MIT, to learn the “MIT way” of teaching from

Menjalankan penyelidikan dan menghasilkanpenerbitan akademik.

Menyiapkan penerbitan buku ilmiah.

OBJECTIVES SYARAT

Staf mesti mempunyai sekurang-kurangnya baki 24 bulan

perkhidmatan sebelum umurpersaraan wajib ketika Cuti Sabatikal

tamat.

SYARAT KHUSUS

Staf berjawatan tetap yang telah disahkanjawatan serta sedang memegang jawatanpentadbiran giliran boleh memohon CutiSabatikal Khas dengan syarat beliau telah

menjawat mana-mana jawatanpentadbiran selama sekurang-kurangnya2 penggal atau 4 tahun secara berterusan.

Menambah kepakaran dan pengalamanakademik dan/atau pengurusan akademik.

Membantu staf menyiapkan penulisan tesisijazah kedoktoran.

Memperluaskan jaringan kerja dan mobiliti Stafbagi tujuan co-branding danpengantarabangsaan UTM.

Staf yang sedang mengikuti CutiSabatikal adalah tidak boleh dilantik

sebagai penyelia pelajar pascasiswazah baru. Walau

bagaimanapun, Staf hendaklahmeneruskan tugas penyeliaan bagi

pelajar sedia ada di bawahpenyeliaannya

Staf yang mengikuti Cuti Sabatikal Khasdibenarkan untuk terus memegang

jawatan pentadbiran yang disandangdalam tempoh Cuti Sabatikal tertakluk

kepada kelulusan Universiti. Dalamkeadaan ini, Universiti boleh melantik staf

lain untuk memangku jawatanpentadbiran berkenaan bagi sepanjang

tempoh tersebut.
