Video Republic

Falling price of digital technology and the capacity to

distribute information rapidly have created the conditions

for millions of people to record and exchange moving

images.

This is a realm populated by people who are attracted by

the idea that video has a unique power to communicate.

It is here where we see opinions, thoughts and feelings

turned into video, by people, for other people.

Research question

Are there some general elements in effective video

remixes?

How to do video remix which effectively communicates

new meanings?

Page 18: Activism with Video Editing (Master's Thesis 1st Presentation)

So my thesis will be...

Analyze 5-6 successful video remixes -> make great

findings.

Based on those findings create 1-3 minutes long “how-to

create effective video remix” video.
