New Benchmarks

Merging of a few of the Performance Indicators Addition of a couple of new ones. One around on how institutions are dealing with

new and emerging technologies. How they plan and fund them, an innovation pipeline.

One around how institutions are managing their relationships with external providers of core systems and services.

One around BYOD and service expectations. One around institutions adopting an e-learning

framework or standards, at a course level, so as to meet reporting obligations to national quality agencies.

The beauty of the beast

The new Benchmarks shift the emphasis to technology enhanced learning, rather than it being on e-learning.

The beautify of benchmarking is not in which tool or set of standards are used, it's about the dialogue that emerges and the sharing of practice that is the real winner for all concerned.

It opens the door for further collaboration. It serves as a mechanism to facilitate discussion

at senior leadership level. Yes you could use any tool, but we already have a

well-established community of practice in ACODE – so we go with our strengths

ACODE Inter-Institutional Benchmarking Summit

Universities benchmarking their capacity in technology enhanced learning.

1-3 June 2014 Hosted by Macquarie University – Sydney –

Australia. Two day intensive where universities have self-

assessed their capacity in technology enhanced learning, using the New ACODE Benchmarks, and are then willing to share their practice and learn from others.
