transmission comes in. It features a locking torque converter

and Active ECO system that modifies engine and transmission

ENGINE INNOVATIONS Elantra Sport’s new engine is an all-

aluminum design whose light weight aids in fuel efficiency.

To help ensure durability, our engineers designed the D-CVVT

valve train to be driven by a long-lasting steel chain (instead of

rubber belts) and specified hydraulic motor mounts to minimize

vibration in the chassis.

HILLSTART ASSIST CONTROL When you’re starting
