As many as 100 artists are producing one (or

more) 12-inch-by-12-inch art works that will be sold at a one-day event on June 12, 2015, for a set price of $250. It may be a painting, a pho-tograph, or it may be made of fiber, ceramic, metal or wood, a mixture of mediums or . . . who knows?

As with all “lively” events, there will be an element of mystery.

Buyers will not know for sure who created the art work that appeals to them until after they have purchased it! Because our list of invited artists includes many well-known artisans, collectors are likely to have purchased “for a song” a prize worth far more than the $250 they paid for it. We also like the idea that this modest price makes fine art available to a broad spectrum of collectors, some of whom are just starting out. Join us and catch the collecting bug!

JUNE 12 4:00 p.m. Preview

and Reception $50 per person.

The gallery opens to the Public at

5:00 p.m. (no charge).

Join us for a weekend of ongoing demonstrations, interaction and cross-pollination of art forms across the Sedona Arts Center campus. All events are free and open to the public.

JUNE 13 MORNING SESSION Keynote by Lori Putnam, “Being an Artist In and Out of the Studio.” Lori is a nation-ally known plein air and studio artist from Tennessee who will be completing a five-day residency and a three-day workshop in early June at the Arts Center. Immersing herself in the Sedona landscape and reflecting on her experience in the studio will be the theme of her display and talk.

3–D Demonstration with Dennis Ott and Susan Kliewer Interactive clay presentation/demonstration.

JUNE 13 AFTERNOON SESSION A Prose and Poetry Primer with Kate Hawkes and Martha Entin as well as “Dance and Paint” a unique performance with Sedona Chamber Ballet involving the creation of a painting through the medium of dance.

JUNE 14 MORNING SESSION Community Paint-out / Write-out!

Lunch will be followed by a ‘weaving’ of special 12x12 paintings with multiple artists involved in the 12x12 fundraiser.

Meet more than 25 artists working in many different mediums including writing, ceramics, painting and sculpture. See a detailed schedule at www.SedonaArtsCenter.org.

The Sedona Arts Center has been changing lives for more than 50 years! Founded in 1958, the Sedona Arts Center has been the founda-tion of art education in Northern Arizona for more than half a century. It’s first (and current) home was in the Jordan fam-ily’s apple packing barn. A lot has changed since then. We’ve grown and expanded, but the Art Barn remains at the heart of the organization. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization we still work to fulfill the same mission:

Our MissionThe Sedona Arts Center is a nonprofit educational institution dedicated to nurturing creative discovery, learning and sharing through arts education and artis-tic development.
