Primary Tag

Primary Colors

The final logo mark equalizer is descriptive, energetic, and has rhythm and movement. This represents the progressive culture of our brand and signifies the energy of our clientele, who are always moving forward. This is a letter and descriptive mark, identifying our company name within the equalizer that stands for the vibration of sound and signifying the vibrational energy within the music culture.

The logo can be used in the two-color primary form for most applications, except on a black background. The black secondary version can be equally interchanged when used on neutral colors or textures. The Principal colors and their respective tints should never change or vary in order within the logo. The only acceptable reverse logo is the black on white, reversed, and outlined. Never scale the logo out of proportion, however it can be split in the middle and bottom row can be removed for some applications.

TyPograPhy

The main font used for Zound is the Futura family and Impact. Impact is used for the logo mark and can be used if adding the word “industries” in conjunction with the logo mark. Combinations of the Futura font may be used in any of the following styles: Condensed Medium, Condensed Extra Bold, Medium and Medium Italic. Body copy should be set in Futura Medium 10 over 12. Heading should be set in Futura Condensed Medium with a negative 30 tracking.

Our color palette is retro with a classic feel and the order of the colors within the logo should not be changed. The alternate colors are suggestions for exploring additional palettes and their tints. These colors are opposite the primary warm palette and should be used for retail branding. Colors that may not be used are pastels and neon colors.

In order to brand out to the music culture, we teamed up with Temple® and Gig Skinz® to merchandise our brand. Temple specializes in storage accessories for music devices and components and Gig Skinz is a DJ accessories brand. Both of their markets speak to our demographic as well.
