“Zero to Trained” Cub Leader Specific

“EVERY BOY DESERVES A TRAINED LEADER”

Required for all Cub Scout Leaders This course is for all levels of Cub Scouting from parents to Cubmasters. It will take you through the Scouting program from 1910 up to today and provide you the basic training you need to be successful with your Scouts, Packs, and Community. During the course of the day you will experience a month of a Pack by taking part in a den meeting, committee meeting, and pack meeting. We will explore the planning process, available materials, roles of leadership, and advanced training. Plus, as a bonus, we are going to have fun! That is what Scouting is “Fun with a Purpose.”

Common training covered: • Y01 Youth Protection • WA01 This is Scouting • WCF7 Fast Start

Position Specific training covered:

• C40 Cubmaster and Assistant Training • C41 Tiger Cub Den Leader and Assistant Training • C42 Cub Scout Den Leader and Assistant Training • C60 Pack Committee Member Training • C61 Webelos Den Leader and Assistant Training • D72 Charter Representative
