Employment Opportunity: Full-time Case Manager. Vancouver, BC Responsibilities:

• Provide case management and one-to-one employment counselling with jobseekers between the age of 16 and 30 to achieve employment goals

• Assessing client needs to best determine appropriate services • Work within the provincial WorkBC multi-agency employment model • Developing and monitoring Return to Work Action Plans with clients • Connecting clients to employment programming though the YWCA’s WorkBC

Employment Services Centers, Partners and the Community • Responsible for reporting client progress and milestones through two different

databases: the Integrated Case Management (ICM) database and Back to Work (B2W) • Ensuring file consistency for government audits • Booking clients in workshops and monitoring attendance • Working within government compliance regulations • Assist participants accessing Training, Self-Employment, Customized Employment,

Short-Term Training, Wage Subsidy, Specialized Assessments, Disability supports • Facilitate workshops on job related topics

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have related education/experience • A minimum of two years of experience work with youth in a teaching/counselling setting • Experience working with at-risk youth is an asset • Must be proficient with the Integrated Case Management or Back to Work Database and

the Province of BC funding application and policy guidelines • Strong counselling and teamwork skills • Ability to work in a flexible, youth friendly environment and relate well with youth • Knowledge of programs and services in the Lower mainland • Desire to provide employment assistance for a range of youth including multi-barriered

youth • Facilitation experience is an asset • Must have excellent computer skills
