Stem ExtensionsE1 Series ball valves can be provided with optional stemextensions allowing buried or underground installations inremote or inaccessible areas.Drain and Sealant injectors will be piped up to the top of theextension for an easier access.The distance between valve center line and operator hand-wheel must be specified.

PupsButt-weld valves may be supplied with transitionpieces(Pups) to avoid any risk of seat and sealdamage during welding and post weld heattreatment operation.

Large Port OpeningsAssure less pressure dropand higher Cv.

Electro-Less Nickel PlatingElectro-less Nickel plating for trim partssuch as Ball, Seat retainer and Stemguarantee long-lasting anti-corrosion at anycorrosive environments in application.

High Flow Capacity(Cv)With minimal pressure lossthrough the valve, it reduces plantoperating costs.

Sealant Injection FittingBuilt in sealant injection systemfor emergency seat seal.

Double block & BleedYPPC E1 & E2 Series ball valves are equipped with a special NPTVent and drain plug installed in the lower body area. Vent plug permitsventing and draining of the body cavity with the valve in the closed positionunder pressure : confirming block and bleed capability.Valve body cavities can be vented to atmosphere are completelydrained down with the ball in the closed position and the valveunder pressure by the special vent plug.The body drain is located in the lowest part of the body cavity and consistsof a NPT drain safety plug.

Ball PositionThe ball open and closed positions are assured bycorresponding stops on the adaptor plate.The valve is normally mounted with the actuator stops orgear stops.

Trunnion BearingMetal-backed self lubricated PTFE sleevebearings and thrust washer reduce torqueand extended service life.Large diameter short coupled trunnionsminimize unit bearing loads andoperating torque.

Trunnion BlockThe stem is separated from the ball and is connectedwith the upper ball trunnion by stainless steel pins.Trunnion blocks are located on the upper andlower ball trunnion which absorb all the pressure loadon the ball.The stem is a free member and carries no side thrust.

Heavy Duty Body ConstructionThe body is made of three forged parts and the boltedconstruction allows disassembly on the job site for repairs.The bolt threads are as per depending on market request.The tightening of the bolts is made by hydraulic tools with apredetermined torque.

High Sphericity BallYPPC E1 & E2 Series ball valves have high sphericitically machinedball and seat retainer.They guarantee long-lasting seat sealing and smooth operating forany customer's conditions.

Model E2 have 3-pieces body design.This design is standard in sizes 14″″and larger for all pressure class.

Fire-Safety DesignWith the valve burned in a fire,such non-metal parts as seat,packing, gasket etc may burnout.Then, an excessive leakagewill result that the firegain headway.

To prevent such situation,the E1 & E2 Series Trunnion mounted ball valvesprovided with the fire-safe mechanism.

Self Relief Seat DesignIndependent floating spring loaded seats arealways in contact with the ball provide aneffective tight seal even at low differential pressure.Independent upstream and downstream seatspermit draining of fluid from the body cavity,so allowing double block and bleed operation.With the single sealing feature, there is automaticbody cavity release of over-pressure to the linethrough the downstream seat.

Double Seal PrincipleDouble sealing feature(available on request)maintains the sealing capacity of the valve even ifcase of the up-stream seat.Body cavity over-pressure in this case can bereleased through a relief valve to atmosphere.

A combination of double sealing feature on thedownstream side and single sealing on theupstream seat is available on request.This configuration maintains the sealing capacityof the valve in case of failure of the upstreamseat and release the body cavity over-pressurethrough the upstream seat.

All JointsCombination of O-ring and gaskets grants a perfectand safe sealing on body and gland.Thus making the E1 and E2 ball valves is suitable forboth above the ground and buried installation.
