2016 Inter PPEC Primary SportsMeet

K. Sahana Prasad participated for the first time in the 2016 Inter PPEC Middle School Sports meet. PPEC Team

won the Badminton Matches. K. Sahana Prasad was awarded as Best Badminton Player of the Sports Meet for

the year 2016.

1. July – 1) He had won the 1stPrize in Gita Shloka Chanting conducted by Iskcon Heritage Fest 2016 and

he had also won as Special Performer in colouring competition .

2. August - 1) He participated in Masterstroke competition and won a prize in school level.

3. September - 1) He won the 2nd Prize in English Club Activity.

2) He won the 3rd Prize in Kannada Club Activity.

3) He won the Consolation Prize in Talents Day(Instrumental Music).

4. October - 1) He won the best exhibit prizes in English,Kannada and Arts and Crafts.

5. November - 1) Smriti Competition conducted in Vyalikaval Eduction Society school and won

Consolation Prize in drawing and Consolation Prize in Memory Test.

6. December – 1) He participated in Gita Gnyana Yagna 2016-17(Chapter-2 Bhagavad Gita competition)

and won the 1st Prize as a cash award of ₨ 1,000 .

2) He participated in NSTSE - 2016 and won as a school topper,state rank as 9th and all Indian rank as

158th.

Manya Ambekallu & Vishruth U

Manya Ambekallu (6th A ) & Vishruth U (4th B ) are the upcoming "Yakshagana" artists, are learning

Yakshagana from past 3 years with Sri. Raghuram Bola, native of Karkala, Udupi Dist. He is an employee of

Central Coffee Board by profession & Yakshagana Artist by hobby. Both Manya & Vishruth have given many

shows at different places of Bangalore. We wish them all the success for their future. "'Yakshaganam gelge"

Mrudula Ramanujan

Mrudula Ramanujan is a student of VI B. She has been learning Bharatanatyam under able tutelage of Guru Smt

Radhika Ramanujan at "Kalaranga School of Dance". Mrudula is an enthusiastic and committed student of

Bharatanatyam. She has been learning this art form for the past 5 years now and has been very passionate about

it. She has performed as part of Chinna Kala Naadam, Sri Rama Navami Programme ( Vyalikaval Rama

Mandir) and recently in Cubbon Park as part of "Udyanavanadalli Udayaraaga". Her interest for the art form is

seen through her performance. Along with dance she has also been learning Carnatic Classical music and

Painting.

Srushti S Joshi studying in 6th B

1. Participated in "Adamya Chetana Seva Utsav 2016", Got 2nd Prize in Drawing Compitition. Srushti

received prize from Smt. Tejaswini Ananth Kumar

2. Participated in "27th National Road Safety Week 2016, Bangalore Traffic Police" Conducted " Road

Safety Through Painting" Competition on 10.01.2016 at Cubbon Park. Nearly 3000 school children

from various school of Bangalore City had participated in this Competition. Srushti Joshi Got 3rd Prize

in this Competition.

3. Participated in ISKCON – Heritage Fest – 2015. She secured Coloring Gold Award

4. Participated in Axis Bank – Splash – 2016 Painting Competition. She secured 1st Prize

5. Participated in Bal Bhavan Society ( Govt. of Karnataka ) Drawing Competition Republic Day – 2016.

2nd Prize She secured 2nd prize and received prize from Ms. Bhavana Ramanna ( President, Bal Bhavan

Society )

6. She participated in Gita Gnyaana Yagna 2015-16 by Sandipani Gurukula Bhagavad Gita Competition.

2nd Class Topper

8. She participated in Drawing Competition due to " World Environment Day" on the theme " Go wild for

Life" organized by Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Srushti got the Consolation Prize
