You are invited to join us for the Hampton School Class of 1957 60 year reunion, August 11-13, 2017 We on the Reunion Committee have been working diligently for several months to prepare a good time for you at your 60th Reunion. We invite you to join us for this exciting event this summer. For our last reunion, 55 classmates and spouses attended, from everywhere. We are hoping for a similarly strong turnout this year from the Detroit area and around the country. If you haven’t been here in a while you will see a city back on the rise. The more people who attend, the more re-connections you will make. And if you are like us, these reconnections mean more with each passing year. Here is our Reunion Central: The Aloft Hotel - the new, beautifully renovated and transformed former David Whitney Building
Our special group rate is $209/night: mention “Hampton Reunion” when booking. For out of towners, yes. But we also would like to encourage the in-towners to take a room here too, both nights, or at least on Saturday night, August 12, the night of our big dinner, so we can party and reconnect until late into the evening/morning, and so locals won’t have to rush home

5. Take the Q-Line transit to the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA)

6. Lunch and Gallery Tour at the Detroit Institute of Arts
7. Bus tour to Hampton School and nearby neighborhoods. See the old hood! 8. Return to hotel in time for a siesta. 9. Reunion Evening Banquet….back at the Aloft Hotel, we will share a delicious dinner, drinks, desserts, friends, music from the 50’s, stories, video, photos and memories. SIGN UP BELOW!

The Tour will be led by representatives of the Dan Gilbert family of companies (owners of Quicken Loans, Cleveland Cavaliers, casinos in Detroit and Ohio, and over 80 buildings in Detroit which have transformed the downtown in ways those who haven’t lived here in the past ten years can’t possibly imagine, and there will be some places they will show us that even long time Detroiters haven’t seen.
