These modules will further develop your functional knowledge of the muscles and structure in relationship to the development of proprioceptor and interoceptor abilities. We will further focus on the modalities to enable self-awareness and coherent innervation of the brain, breath, body and emotion. Yoga Cikitsa Yoga Cikitsa (Yoga Therapy) is the practice, treatment and lifestyle modalities incorporated to avoid the causative factors of disease. Ayurveda Ayurveda is the Science of Nature while Yoga is the Science of embracing one’s humanity as a vehicle to empower Self Realization. Ayurveda, a sister science to Yoga is the “what, why, where and when” whilst Yoga is the “how.” About these training modules: The modules may be taken as stand-alone trainings or as preparation and segue into the Yoga Therapy Program to become IAYT Certified. While these modules are not the only trainings required, the entire 7 Modules are required, with Module 1 being required for graduation from Virarupa 2, Acharyrupa and Guruparampara.
