control point

An algorithm based on geometry feature of coronary artery is presented, according to the particularity of 3-D reconstruction of coronary artery in angiograms. The method of binocular stereo is adopted in this algorithm. In corresponding points matching, the control points which have the feature of intersection, corner and tip are chosen and matched, and make the blood vessel section between two control points can be simplified as a line with diferent diameter. Extract and generate the 3-D data from each control point. The method of "display the blood vessel with lines instead of curve, and simulate the curve by fine lines" is used in 3-D rendering. By the test of experiment, the result demonstrates that this algorithm is fast, simple, small quantity in data, controllable in accuracy. It is suitable for the reconstruction of blood vessel which is the object of line geometrical figure.
