We want to help you travel to Costa Rica and have an incredible, life-changing experienceAfar Foundation providing partial scholarships for 10 students at OHS.Global Explorers organizing a program featuring a 10-day trip for the group in 2010.Ultimate goal: help you see our world, understand it a little better, and learn something about yourself in the process

Global Explorers Learning Afar Program 2010

Scholarship money for 1 group of students from NY and 1 group from the San Francisco Bay AreaCompetitive application process to select schoolsHope to expand after 2010 (1st year for the program!)In addition to regular Global Explorers program, students will also learn about journalism skills such as writing, photography and videography
