INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) CAPABILITIES:The WorldWide Alliance (referred to herein as WWA) places a high value on its ability to offer clients not only a comprehensive package of online, E-Commerce tools but also the ability to provide full system-to-system integration. In short, WWA has a strong commitment to deliver ‘best-in-class’ E-Commerce and EDI solutions.
Our integration solutions are truly customized – based on business processes rather than traditionally being driven by IT processes. WWA has extensive experience and a proven track record in tailor-making integration processes for customers and feel we have the capability to truly match CUSTOMER’s exacting requirements. We also feel strongly about allowing our customers to decide how they integrate with us and offer a ‘mix-and-match’ of web-based and EDI products, which is unique to WWA.
WWA operates within a strong agile development culture with focus on process excellence at our Development and Resource Center in Pune, India. Our IT servers are located in an enterprise grade global data center which is SAS 70 level II certified. WWA use only Tier 1 vendors such as HP, EMC, VMware, Oracle, Red Hat and Microsoft. We offer truly global applications and global data management, in addition to some very country-specific applications (eg, online Import Invoice Approval System – a tool which is beneficial primarily in the US import market since, traditionally, credit on import shipments is not industry-standard in the US.)
Our E-Commerce Director (responsible for both EDI and Online products), Kasper Johansen, is located in our corporate headquarters in Chatham, NJ. Kasper’s role is to act as a liaison between WWA’s IT team (business analysts, programmers, support team, etc), CUSTOMER’s product personnel and CUSTOMER’s IT team. This is of course a key role specifically in the realms of EDI / Webservice integration. As well as having detailed knowledge of IT requirements in this respect, Kasper has a sound background in the operations aspect of WWA in particular and the industry in general. Kasper would be the primary IT Contact for CUSTOMER.
In addition, Eric DSouza, who heads our Integration team will participate in any meetings, communications, etc. and will be an integral part of the entire integration process.
On a general level, in regard to WWA’s website and specifically in terms of our E-Commerce tools, we have dedicated regional Support Teams who handle all questions, issues, etc. regarding our online products.
