Elections

• 5 Associations with 3 or more years of not volunteering on Executive – Kitchener, Dorchester, Mitchell, Chatham, Guelph

o Treasurer - Mitchell o Secretary - Kitchener o Western Commissioner - Chatham o Statistician – Hanover o Ref in Chief - Forest

• Regionals o 2018 Regionals were very successful…

▪ No misconduct penalties; no match penalties ▪ One parent ejection ▪ 3 players missed game due to 4 min. penalities ▪ No carry over suspensions

o It is believed that having an arena/ officiating supervisor was very beneficial

o Regionals 2019 ▪ No ice in Kitchener on last weekend in March but first weekend in April is a

possibility. Not many associations were in favour of this since most ice is out 2-3 weeks prior to this date

▪ London ice is too expensive to host it there again. $275/ hour in London vs $146/ hour in KW.

▪ Guelph not looking at hosting again anytime soon as they wanted to move away from Regionals.

▪ It was discussed looking into Woodstock, Tillsonburg, Dorchester, Thamesford, Alymer and Belmont as possibilities for Regionals. We will need 6-7 ice pads to make is work.

o Treasurer Report – will be up on website ▪ No U8 medals this year left the league with a bit of money left over ▪ It was decided to keep league fees the same

Meeting adjourned at 9:00pm – Mitchell; seconded St Marys.
