She is best known for her role as Stacey in the award-winning Star Wars fan film series "Pink Five." Amy currently enjoys volunteering as a high school drama coach and being a mom to her 4-year-old son Sam. Kathi Chaplar (Stand-by Julie/ Associate Producer) Actor, singer, musical director, new member at GRT, Kathi most recently produced Another Washington Affair at the Avery Schreiber. Her acting credits include I’m Just Wild about Harry (Ida U/S) and U.S.S. Pinafore (Buttercup replacement) at Crown City Theatre, as well as Pasadena Playhouse’s Production of Amahl and the Night Visitors (Shepherdess). Kathi has directed over 30 musicals, most recently Phantom of the Opera. She is thrilled to be part of her first GRT production.

Cheryl Crosland (Stand-by Linda) Recently joining husband Kent Butler and daughter Truett Butler as a member of the GRT, Cheryl made her main stage debut in Calendar Girls in 2016, and is very excited to be part of the World Premiere of A Dull Pain Turned Sharp. Cheryl has done costuming and other backstage duties for the GRT over the past few years.

Kay Cole (Director) Kay is a true renaissance woman. She has been directing, choreographing, writing and teaching in Los Angeles, New York and London for many years. Her recent directorial successes are I Only Have Eyes for You, an original musical she also choreographed. Firecracker, an original play she also co-wrote. Another Washington Affair, a timely and unique two-character play, and John Patrick Shanley’s premier one act, Poison, at Theater 68. She is in pre-production to direct and choreograph “Daniel in Babylon,” an original rock opera film. Her solo CD "Souvenir" is available on Kritzerland.com. She is a proud member of SDC. www.KAYCOLE.net. Kay would also like to thank Debi Tinsley for her friendship and artistry.

Brent Beerman (Playwright/Associate Producer) A UCLA MFA graduate, his Gabriel’s Rapture won the Corner Stage National Theater Contest, Millionaires opened off-Broadway, Dancing in the Shadows won the Pacificus Foundation of Los Angeles Literary Award; his libretto for Jesus’ Daughter and Womin, touring Europe and the United States, were featured on CNN. In Los Angeles, Another Washington Affair was recently directed by Kay Cole. A Dull Pain Turned Sharp was a prizewinner at the MOXIE Films New Play Competition and a reading featured at the HOWL festival in New York City. The director of theater at Crescenta Valley High School which annually produces over 14 plays with five guest directors; Brent’s students are working as interns on this show.

Mannette Antill (Producer) Actor, Fitzmaurice Voicework teacher, producer; member of GRT, member at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum (where she acts and produces their Seedlings Playreadings), she has also appeared at Glendale Theatre Center. Favorite roles: To Kill a Mockingbird, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Old Lady Shows Her Medals, and Miss Reardon Drinks A Little. “Room Tone” screened at Cannes and she won Best Actor at the International Fan Film Festival for “The Shadow.”

Steve Terrell (Stage Manager) Best known as an American radio personality, international music producer, and actor, Steve’s first work at the GRT was as Stage Manager for That Lovin’ Feelin’, and his acting debut here was in Bach at Leipzig (The Greatest Organist in Germany.) Most recently cast in Agatha Christie’s The Witness for the Prosecution (A policeman), he is Stage Managing for A Dull Pain Turned Sharp. He just completed filming a short film "Coco" playing Mathew on imdb.com

J. Kent Inasy (Set Designer) AEA. GRT Resident designer and multi-award winner in LA Theater, he has designed shows across America and Canada. GRT shows include: Calendar Girls, Armadillo Necktie, Bach at Leipzig, That Lovin’ Feeling, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Love Again, The Ghost of Gershwin, and Agatha Christie’s The Witness for the Prosecution. A Director of Photography in television, he has acted secretly in GRT shows A Street Car Named Desire and A Slight Ache. Thanks for everything BB. Judi Lewin (Wig Designer) Moving from Toronto to LA 27 years ago, Judi had worked extensively in Theatre and for The Canadian Opera Company. She has since incorporated TV/Film into her repertoire designing Makeup/Hair and Wigs. Theatre credits include: Pasadena Playhouse, Rubicon Theatre Co., Fremont Center Theatre, Interact Theatre Co., The Blank Theatre, Fountain Theatre, McCoy Rigby Entertainment/La Mirada, Sacramento Music Circus and Theatre 40/Beverly Hills. Steve Shaw (Sound Designer) Steve’s work has been heard from LA to New York to Idaho. He is a GRT member where he most recently designed The Witness for the Prosecution, A Nice Family Christmas, Calendar Girls, Bach at Leipzig, and That Lovin’ Feelin’. Also an actor and a writer, he was most recently Reverend Tooker in the GRT’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and his play, Caller ID, was part of their 2015 Put on Your Shorts! Festival.

Nora Feldman (Public Relations) On staff at The Group Rep and Actors Forum Theatre, Nora has publicized numerous theatre productions, and events such as World Championships of the Performing Arts and Experience NoHo. Nora has also served as producer of the theatre component for the NoHo Theatre & Arts Festival, NoHo Scene, and Experience NoHo. Nora is married to actor Steve Peterson.

Doug Engalla (Photography/Videography) has served as the photographer and videographer of numerous productions on both the GRT Main Stage and Upstairs at the GRT. In this capacity, he has also produced and edited a series of interview segments with directors, playwrights and actors about these productions. In addition, he has, to date, directed six full-length productions and five short plays at the Group Rep.
