Dear Parents:

As we prepare to bring the 2008-2009 school year to a 'close, the Wilson Elementary Office Staff is making plans for the 2009-2010 school year. We are planning to pre-register both incoming kindergarten students and currently enrolled K - 41~ grade students, Please note, students that DO NOT PRE-REGISTER BY MAY 15th, WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED ENROLLMENT AT Wilson 2009-2010. PRE-REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED LATER THAN MAY 15, 2009!!

Currently Enrolled K - 4th Grade Students

Beginning on May 11th, pre-registration for the 2009-10 school year will be conducted at Wilson Elementary. Pre-Registration will allow all students that are currently enrolled at Wilson Elementary to begin the registration process lor next year. Please anticipate the follOWing procedures for Pre-Registration:

• On Monday, May 11 th the DISD Information of Verification Student Sheet will be sent home in the Monday Envelope. It must be returned to the teacher no later than Fnday, May 15th

• ParentsJGuardians will need to attend Registration on August 6th & i h between the hours of 8:~ - 3:00 to provide a current proof of residence (current utility bill, rental agreement, or house contract),

• FINAL REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE UNTIL A CURRENT PROOF OF RESIDENCE HAS BEEN PROVIDED IN AUGUST AND YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE PLACED ON A CLASS ROLE.

Incoming Kindergarten Students

• Kindergarten Round-Up will be held on Thursday, May i h at 9:00 In the Wilson Cafeteria for all children that reside within the Wilson attendance zone (can be viewed at www.dentonisd.org) and will be 5 years old on or before September 1,2009.

• At Kindergarten Round-Up parents will ne~d to bring original: o Up to date Immunization record o Birth Certificate o Proof of Residence o Social Security Card

• Parents Will need to complete Enrollment Packet to pre-register. • Parents/Guardians will need 10 attend Registration on August 6th & 7'h between the

hours of 8:00 - 3:00 to provide a current proof of residence (current utility bill, rental agreement, or house contract).

• REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE COMPLETE UNTIL A CURRENT PROOF OF RESIDENCE HAS BEEN PROVIDED IN AUGUST AND YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE PLACED ON A CLASS ROLE.

Our PTA will be available on August 6th & 7th to sell memberships. T-Shirts and pick up pre purchased school supplies. Agendas for grades 2-5 will be sold in the office for $5.00 each. EI 11 de mayo empezara el proceso de pre-matriculacion para el alia escolar 2009-10 en la Pnmana Wilson, La pre-mscrjpcion permitira a todos los estudiantes que estan matriculados actualmente en la Primaria Wilson empezar el proceso de matriculacion para el proximo ano, Favor de anticipar los sigulentes procedimientos para la pre-matnculacion:

• EI lunes, 11 de mayo, enviaremos a la Gasa la Forma de InformaCion y Venficaci6n del Estudlante en el sobre de los lunes. Este debe ser devuelto al maestro antes del viernes, 15 de mayo.

• Los padres/tutores tambien neceSltaran asistir al dia de matriculaclon el 6 0 7 de agosto entre 8:00 ­3:00 para proporcionar a la escuela con una prueba actual de domicilio (comprobante de la cuenta actual de el!ctricidad, contrato de renta, 0 contrato de la Gasa),

• LA MATRicULA NO ESTARA COMPLETA Y SU NINO NO SERA COLOCADO EN NINGUNA CLASE HASTA QUE LOS PADRES PROPORCIONEN UNA PRUEBA ACTUAL DE RESIDENCIA EN AGOSTO.

Estudiantes que entran a Kinder

• La Pre-inscripci6n para Kinder tendra lugar el jueves, 7 de mayo a las 9:00 en la cafeteria de Wilson para todos los nii'ios que residen denlro de la zona de asistencia de Wilson y que tendran 5 anos en a antes del 10 de septiembre de 2009

• En la pre-inscripclon de Kinder, los padres necesitaffin traer originales de: o Reglslro de inmunizaci6n al dia • o Certificado de nacimiento o Prueba de Domlcilio o Tarjeta de segura social

• Los padres necesitaran completar el Paquete de Matriculaci6n para inscribirse con anlelacion • Los padres/tutores tambien necesitaran asisllr al dia de Matriculaci6n el 6 0 7 de agosto entre 8:00 ­

EI 6 Y7 de agesto nuestra PTA tendril a la venta membrecias, camisetes de Wilson y podran recoger los utiles escolares comprados con anticipacion. Las Agendas para 2·5 grados estaran a la venta en la oficina, a $5.00 cada una, Note por favor gue los estudiantes gue se inscriben can antelacion no habran completado el proceso de matrfcula hasta que una prueba de domicilio sea preporcionada en agosto.
