She is currently tied with four other Greyhounds with 120 career games. • With Sutherland’s start at Iona College, the senior took the top spot with the most starts in Loyola history. • Sutherland ranks seventh in program history with 191 steals, needing two more thefts to take the sixth place spot.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL 2012-2013 GAME NOTESFront of the Line• Nicole Krusen leads the Greyhounds from the line, going 11-13, or 85 percent, while Kara Marshall follow close behind at .769.• Six Greyhounds have hit 100 percent of their shots from the line, and of those six, they have accomplished the feat 17 times. • On Nov. 20, the Greyhounds shot a season-best 92 percent from the free-throw-line, making 12 of their 13 attempts against the Navy Midshipmen. • In 2011-12, the Greyhounds finished fourth in the MAAC, hitting 72.0-percent (391-of-543) of their free-throw attempts.• The percentage ranked as the fifth-highest single-season team percentage in Loyola history.

Double Digit Divas• Eight Greyhounds have tabbed double-digit points this season, scoring a combined 1,370 points. • Katie Sheahin started the 2012-13 season where she ended last season. The senior scored in double-figures in 11-straight games to end the 2011-12 season. This year Sheahin posted double figures for the first five games, 18 total during her senior year. • Two rookies scored double figures, including Diana Logan who scored 10 points after only two collegiate contests. Tiffany Padgett was the first freshman to record a double-double in the conference season opener at Fairfield University.• Forwards Alyssa Sutherland and Nneka Offodile recorded double figures for the Greyhounds, while guard Kara Marshall recorded a game-high 18 points at Manhattan Jan. 18, 2013.• Junior Nicole Krusen scored double-digits thanks to her strength behind the arc, shooting a program-best seven three-point field goals versus Manhattan, five at UMBC, and four against Saint Peter’s.• Nai Brown recorded her first collegiate-double figure score on Play 4Kay night, Friday, Feb. 16, 2013.

Not Your Average Joe• Head coach Joe Logan enters his eighth season at the helm for the Greyhounds, with a 119-122 career record. He has led Loyola to two MAAC Title games, and a WNIT invitation in 2009.• Logan became the all-time winningest coach in Loyola women’s basketball history with a, 67-54, win at Siena on January 7, 2012. • Logan has led Loyola to two 20-plus win seasons in his tenure, including tying a program record with 21 wins in 2010-11.• Logan is assisted by Alisha Mosley, Jill Glessner, Keith Booth, and Director of Basketball Operations Erica DiClemente.

Head Coach Joe Logan became the all-time winningest coach in Greyhound history in his seventh season at the helm, winning his 101st game on January 7, 2012 at Siena. He was hired as the 11th head women’s basketball coach on May 12, 2005. After concluding his seventh season on the sidelines, Logan stands with an overall record of 109-105. Throughout his tenure at Loyola, Logan has also registered the most MAAC wins (69) and has led Loyola to

two trips to the MAAC title game (2006 and 2011). He led the 2011-12 version of the team to a fourth-place finish in the conference, going 13-17 overall and 9-9 in MAAC play. Logan led the Greyhounds to arguably the most successful year in program history in 2010-11, tying the record for most wins in a single season with 21, and setting the mark for most conference wins in a single season with 15. Loyola finished 21-13 overall and 15-3 in the MAAC to place in the regular season. It was the second season Logan had led the team to at least 13 confer-ence wins. During the season, the Greyhounds put together a nine-game winning streak, which tied for the longest in program history. With wins over Canisius and Manhattan in the first two rounds of the MAAC Championships, Loyola advanced to the MAAC title game for the seventh time in program history in 2010-11, dropping a 63-45 decision to Marist. Loyola received a berth to the Women’s National Invitational Tour-nament for the first time ever, and picked up its first postseason win in program history by knocking off Old Dominion 67-65 on the road. With the great team success also came individual honors. Three Greyhounds were named to All-MAAC teams, with Miriam McKenzie earning a first team nod while Erica DiClemente and Katie Sheahin were named to the second team. Sheahin also earned the MAAC Defenisve Player of the Year Award. Under Coach Logan 10 student-athletes have been named to All-MAAC teams - Lauren Troupe (1st team, 2006), Krystle Harrington (3rd team, 2006), Jill Glessner (1st team, 2007),Vika Sholokhova (3rd team, 2007), Miriam McKenzie (1st team, 2010, 2011 and 2012), Erica DiClemente (2nd team, 2011) and Katie Sheahin (2nd team, 2011, 1st team, 2012).Two players have also earned MAAC Sixth Player of the Year honors - Jackie Valderas (2006) and Sholokhova (2007), while four players have been named to theMAAC All-Rookie team, including Erica DiClemente (2007, Candice Walk-er (2008), Katie Sheahin (2010) and Kara Marshall (2012). Sheahin has also been a two-time MAAC Defensive Player of the Year (2011 and 2012) The Greyhounds were 14-16 overall and 9-9 in the conference un-der Logan in 2009-10. Loyola lost in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Citizens Bank Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships at the Times Union Center, in Albany, N.Y., to Fairfield, 70-66. In Logan’s first three seasons, the team was even better in Metro

Atlantic Athletic Conference competition, registering a 32-22 mark (.593). He was recognized by his peers as the MAAC Coach of the Year after going 18-12 in 2006-2007. After the graduation of nine players in Logan’s first two seasons, the 2007-2008 Grey-hounds were left with a roster of youthful talent. Undeterred, the team jumped out to a 7-3 record in the season’s first 10 games with big non-conference wins over Drexel, Villanova, Mount St. Mary’s, UMBC and Columbia, as well as a MAAC-opening sweep of Niagara and Canisius. Injuries, however, dealt the team setbacks after the turning of the calendar, but Logan’s club responded, reeling off four straight wins in February against conference foes. The Greyhounds then won their first game in the MAAC Tournament for the third straight season. Logan and his coaching staff guided the Greyhounds to an 18-12 record and third-place finish in the MAAC in 2006-2007. The Greyhounds advanced to the MAAC semifinals for the second straight season, as well. Loyola’s 18-12 record came on the heels of a 20-10 record in 2005-2006, Logan’s first year as head coach. The 38 wins posted during Logan’s tenure are the most in a two-year span at Evergreen since the 1997-1998 and 1998-1999 teams won 41. The 20 wins in 2005-2006 were the most in school history by a first-year women’s basketball coach, and the 38 in two years are the most in that span, as well. Anne McCloskey won 33 games during the first two seasons of her tenure that began in 1976. In his first season, Logan’s team achieved the best record for a women’s basketball team at Loyola since the 1998-1999 season. The Greyhounds finished third in the MAAC with a record of 13-5, also the best since the 1998-1999 campaign. Loyola’s 20 wins are tied for the second-most victories in school history. Prior to his arrival as head coach in May of 2005, Logan was not a stranger to the Loyola women’s basketball program. He was an assistant with the Greyhounds from 1997-2001 under head coaches Patty Coyle and Cindy Anderson-Griffin. During that time, Loyola posted a 72-43 record, advancing to the MAAC semifinals three times. As a Loyola assistant, Logan worked in nearly every area of coaching. He was respon-sible for recruiting, development of Loyola’s forwards, film exchange, scouting, travel, monitoring of academic program, camps and fundraising. Logan left Loyola in 2001 to be a part of the coaching staff at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. There, he helped the Hawks to an overall record of 72-53. While Logan was at St. Joe’s, the Hawks won two Atlantic 10 Eastern Conference titles and advanced to the Atlantic 10 Finals twice. Logan earned his bachelors of arts in history, with a minor in business from Loyola in 1996. He is married to the former Susan Bryce (Loyola ’98), who was a Greyhounds women’s basketball player from 1994-1998. The couple has three kids, Maggie, Rose, and Joseph.
