Our travel partnership has seen us travel thousands of miles to three different continents to deliver soccer tours in the most beautiful cities and towns around the globe.

AM Sports Tours has planned, organised and delivered tours to the highest standard at major tournaments in 3 different countries in as many years as we delivered the beautiful game to over 1500 people in Brazil, Canada & France.

World Cup 2014

AM Sports Tours welcomed their customers to the stunning paradise city of Buzios for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. An action packed schedule was filled with friendly games, training, live games and many outstanding sightseeing activities. Over 600 people got to experience this fantastic and unforgettable World Cup Academy as they got to witness first-hand the atmosphere of a soccer-mad country hosting the World’s greatest international soccer tournament.

Women’s World Cup 2015

The Women’s World Cup was the next stop for AM Sports Tours as they delivered an elite training based programme in Whistler, Canada. The programme was open to all girls of mixed ages and abilities as we offered an elite training camp with elite coaches from the men and women’s game working in partnership with AM Sports Tours to deliver high level training sessions for the girls in the lead up to a one day festival, incorporating live games and sight-seeing activities. A truly unbelievable setting made this trip something that will live in the memories forever!

Euros 2016

In June 2016, AM Sports tours delivered the Grimaud Cup to over 700 customers in Grimaud - a fantastic and unique town along the coast from the popular St Tropez. Players trained with professional coaches whilst competing in the Grimaud Cup versus local French teams, all twinned with live Euro 2016 games and visiting the famous St Tropez and Monaco while spending time relaxing on the beautiful beaches in the South of France.

AM Sports Tours partner with UEFA licenced coaches from within the men and women’s game, helping us to excel in delivering elite coaching practices to the players in our group. With experience of coaching in many different professional environments, the coaches will tailor sessions to aid players technical and tactical knowledge as well as their ability to make good decisions on the pitch.

Austin MacPheeHearts and Northern Ireland assistant coach

Austin MacPhee is currently one of the most up and coming coaches in national and world soccer. Austin is currently the assistant manager for Scottish Premiership team Heart of Midlothian FC as well as being assistant manager for the Northern Ireland National Team who qualified for their first major tournament in their history in 2016 in France. Austin is the Founder of AM Sports Tours as well as one of the largest soccer clubs in Scotland – AM Soccer Club. Austin has worked as a coach in professional soccer since 2008 working in various coaching and analysis roles in Scotland and on the international scene – including recently taking up a role as a UEFA Technical Observer.

Michael O’Neill MBENorthern Ireland Head coach

Michael is currently one of the most sort after and talked about coaches on the scene. His recent successes have caught the attention of many top pro teams. Michael led Northern Ireland to qualification for the European Championships in 2016 for the first time in 30 years. Michael was award an MBE and won the BBC Personality of the Year Coach Award.

Michael is a former professional soccer player having played for a number of teams in the English and Scottish leagues before becoming a manager. Michael coached at club level for a short time with prominent roles at Brechin City & Shamrock Rovers before being offered the Northern Ireland job.

Coaching TeamAM Sports Tours offer the unique experience to be coached and interact with coaches that operate at the highest level on the international stage. Our founder Austin MacPhee and Michael O’Neill have had incredible success over the last 4 years culminating in leading Northern Ireland qualifying for the European Championships in 2016.

College ID Coaches

AM Sports Tours is delighted to be able to offer a College ID Camp as part of this fantastic trip. Coaches from Div I, II and III schools from across the United States will be present, offering a tremendous opportunity. The players will take part in training sessions led by coaches from all three school levels as well as as well as the professional coaching staff.

Grimaud offers a variety of delights and adventures as it has a harmonious blend of old and new heritage from thousand year old pathways and streets to the elegant nature of Port Grimaud, also known as mini-Venice. The village is beautifully immersed in culture with the Massif des Maures mountain range leading down through the vast open fields and vineyards down to the beautiful sandy beaches and warm Mediterranean sea over-looking the Gulf of St Tropez.

The various excursions on offer in and around Grimaud makes this quaint village in the South of France the ideal place for a relaxing and breath-taking holiday for the family.

AM Sports Tours provides match day tickets to live games at the biggest events and the Women’s World Cup in France will be no different. Previous tours have offered players the opportunity to watch the highest quality players in action as our customers watched Lionel Messi at the World Cup in Brazil, Cristiano Ronaldo helping Portugal to glory in the Euro 2016 campaign as well as watching Carly Lloyd score a hat-trick to lead USA to glory in the Women’s World Cup in 2015.

We can gaurantee you will watch the USA whilst in France. If the location of the game is outwith the four venues located close to the accommodation (Nice, Montpellier, Grenoble and Lyon) then a surcharge for transport will be charged.

AM Sports Tours strive to provide top class training and playing facilities for the tour offering the players the best opportunity to train and play at the highest level they can. The soccer facilities in Grimaud are located close to the hotel and offer a fantastic soccer environment for the players to train and play at. The soccer pitch is home of Grimaud FC and is an Astroturf based field with options of 7, 9 and 11-a-side pitches.

We understand the importance that beautiful, high quality surroundings plays on the psyche of a soccer player. We also want great facilities so that you can relax and enjoy your tour.

The location selected is one of the safest areas of France and also our schedule minimises the amount of travel allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience.

We have partnered with The Hôtel Soleil de Saint Tropez for this tour. The hotel is set in a 16,000m2 park and features access to the beach which is just 350 yards from the hotel.

The Hotel property offers an on-site restaurant and pitch and putt course that can be used as a footgolf course.

Guest rooms are comfortable and spacious. They are all equipped with modern en suite facilities and most of them offer a view of the swimming pool and park.
