In Local NewsResidents from Summit, NJ took it upon themselves to lend a helping hand by gathering up as much trash as possible for Earth Day. People gathered all around the town in various parks and neighborhoods. Like; Wilson Park, Martins Brook, and Briant Park. With the amount of adults helping out, there were two times that amount in children. Keeping with Local NewsA man named Marlon Peek has been accused of robbing two banks in South Plainfield. But police have suspicion to believe that he may be involved in 5 other bank robberies around New Jersey; even the bank robbery at the TD bank in Springfield on Morris Avenue. Marlon Peek is still at large. FBI officials have placed a phone number within the article entitled: Feds ID suspect in Middlesex bank robbery spree. In National NewsAt the Texas State Aquarium, over 350 fish were killed due to mixed up labels on poisonous chemicals. The aquarium believed they were using a chemical called: trichlorfon, but instead were using hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is a toxic chemical that is used in film processing. Why these two chemicals were mixed up in the first place is still the number one question among the people at the aquarium. This was said to be the most significant loss the Texas State Aquarium has faced in 25 years. At Georgia Southern UniversityPeople have gathered to mourn the deaths of 5 nursing students who were killed in a multivehilce wreckage near Savannah. These five girls were all juniors in college on there way to their last day of clinical rotations at there first year of nursing school. Seven cars were involved in the accident, but one tractor-trailer is to blame. Sgt. Chris Nease had this to say about the incident: He came along from behind them and he just did not stop for those cars. The Blue Bell Ice cream company has recalled their entire product line because of the bacteria called listeria found within the ice cream. Supposedly, the fact that listeria has been found in Blue Bell ice cream dates back to 2010, according to the Centers for Disease Control. This bacteria can cause fatal infection in children, and greatly affect elderly with weak immune systems. The bacteria strain has said to have been lurking within one of Blue Bells numerous factories. People around the nation are saying their illness were caused by the listeria bacteria and ultimately influenced the decision of the Blue Bell company to stop the distribution of their products. In International NewsSydney, Australia has been facing storms that are bringing strong winds and rain. Power outages and flooding are a constant concern for people within Sydney and nearby areas. Half of a million people are without power, and 4500 people are actually trapped by flood waters covering the roads surrounding them. Devastation is almost an understatement. This storm is being called, The once in a decade storm. Police officials have said to have receiver 13,000 calls requesting help from flooded areas along with rescue missions. The police could not say enough about how dangerous the conditions are and how people need to stay put for the remainder of the storm.

6666In another International StoryA US counterterrorism operation targeting an al Qaeda compound in January accidentally killed two innocent hostages, including one American. Barrack Obama spoke on behalf of the US government apologizing for the incident saying that he takes full responsibility for the outcome. He added that the two al Qaeda members were also killed by the drone attack. Obama did not fully approve the attack, but since the attack was in the bounds of policy guidance, the attack was issued regardless of a definite approval from Obama. These strikes were also said to have been under complete surveillance before any missiles were sent, showing that they must have overlooked the two hostages. Unfortunately, this boneheaded decision to send in the missiles resulted in two tragic deaths. 7777In SportsLeBron James and the Cavilers continue to shut down the Celtics making the record of the series 3-0 in favor of the Cavilers. James contributed 31 points and 11 rebounds, along with Kevin Love who put up 23 points with 9 rebounds. 8888Keeping with sportsThe much publicized Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight is coming up. Tickets to this event have been sold out since 60 seconds after the ticket box office opened. This incredible demand for tickets allowed only the lucky ones to obtain a ticket. Pay per view showings will however be offered to anyone not lucky enough to witness the fight themselves. Boxing icons are calling this fight the most important fight in the history of the sport of boxing. This fight will be held on May 2nd. Paul Walkers death came as a surprise during the filming of the new movie, Furious 7. Fans were devastated after hearing the news of Walkers death. The Fast and Furious franchise was at more of a stand-still then anyone else; since the movie wasnt yet finished, much editing needed to be done to make this movie the perfect tribute film for Paul Walker. Mecom auctions are auctioning off Walkers first car from the first film of the series; a Toyota Supra with an orange exterior.
