Bonitz Appoints New President and CEO

The Bonitz Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Pete Larmore as

President and CEO of Bonitz, Inc. effective January 1, 2017. Larmore becomes the 5th

President in Bonitz' 63-year history. In his new role, he will be responsible for ensuring the

company's continued growth both strategically and operationally. During his 30 year career

with Bonitz, Larmore has held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, operations, and

leadership. He will retain his current position as CEO of the Bonitz Flooring Group, along with

This is the last chance to submit applications for the prestigious Bruce Newbrough Memorial

CIM Scholarship for 2016, sponsored by ARDEX Americas and nora systems, Inc. Valued at

$1,225, the scholarship covers the entirety of the only certification program for flooring

installation managers, including the application, learning modules and testing fees.

Applications will be accepted now through December 18th, and the winner will be announced

on December 30th.

INSTALL CIM SCHOLARSHIP

This educational opportunity was developed to support one hardworking installation

manager’s continued training and professional development. The scholarship, valued at

$1,150 plus application fee, will allow a floor covering professional to enroll in and

successfully complete this valuable training.

Criteria on which applicants will be judged upon in this scholarship program include:

Employer must be an INSTALL contractor.

INSTALL membership status and INSTALL certifications held by the applicant.

Reason for requesting the training.

MIA Announces Newly Elected Board Members

Marble Institute of America (MIA)+Building Stone Institute (BSI) has announced that three

individuals have been elected to the 12 person MIA board. Duane Naquin, CEO of Stone

Interiors, Herwig Callewier, chairman of Beltrami N.V., and Ali Kader, president and CEO of

Egy-Mar International will also serve on the transitional MIA+BSI board during the second
