The splash trip of the summer is back! In past years we would take a weekend to get away. It was our chance to say goodbye to 8th graders, to welcome in the new class of 6th graders and to bond as a group. Every year we felt as though a weekend is not enough time to do all that! So this year we will once again take a week and head out to the Dells in Wisconsin: home of America’s largest water parks! We will splash around, explore the area and build relationships. In addition, we will explore the many things that God has placed in our lives to help us grow in him. Join us for what hopes to be a new tradition.

This trip is for all current 5-8th graders. This trip is designed to be far enough away from home to get away, but also keeping in mind for some - this is their first experience away from home. We try to be accommodating of that and make sure we give the students an experience that is sensitive to their needs and different developmental course. There will be plenty of approved leaders and drivers to not only ensure the youth have a safe, but great trip as well! We strongly encourage you to reach out to your friends. Does not matter if they are not familiar with the whole church scene - we have designed the trip so that it will be accommodating to all who attend. We will be staying in Baraboo, WI - located just outside of the Wisconsin Dells. While there, among other things, we will be visiting Mt. Olympus water and amusement park (www.mtolympuspark.com) and Noah’s Ark water park (www.noahsarkwaterpark.com). Seriously - check these places out!! Our lodging will be in a yurk right on the beach at Baraboo Hills Campground (www.baraboohillscampground.com). What’s a yurk? A yurk is a giant teepee that we will be staying in. But this ain’t your Daddy’s teepee! (Seriously Gailey Family...it’s not!) This teepee has air conditioning, satellite tv and its own kitchen. Check it out on Baraboo’s website!
