FunctionalprincipleThe PLICSRADIO series is used for easy wireless transmission of 4 … 20 mA/HART signals and switching conditions. The emitting unit powers the connected sensors via cable. Individual 4 … 20 mA/HART sensors of all manufacturers can be integrated. A receiving unit receives the measured values via the radio distance and dependent on the version transmits them to a 4 … 20 mA output or a processing unit. An indicating unit in radio range can also show the requested measured values.

ApplicationsBy using a license and registration free transmission range, a simple andreliable radio connection is available for industrial application areas. Theinstruments are used when wiring a signal cable is not possible or toocomplex. Obstacles such as streets, railways, rivers and buildings can beovercome without problems and in a price-favourable way. The use inmobile system parts such as conveyor belts, rotating vessels or in tankersare further application areas. PLICSRADIO series is best suited for quickand interference-free extension of existing plants or permanently changingplant constellations.

FunctionalprinciplePLICSMOBILE is a GSM/GPRS radio unit for transmission of measured values, for example, to WEB-VV and for remote parameter adjustment of plics® sensors. Due to the quadband technology as well as the free selection of the mobile network provider, a worldwide use can be ensured. The adjustment is carried out via PACTware/DTM by using the integrated USB connection.

FunctionPLICSMOBILE T61 is an external GSM/GPRS radio unit for transmission of measured values and for remote parameter adjustment of plics® sensors. In conjunction with all two-wire electronics there is the possibility to transmit measured values and diagnosis information. There is also the possibility to access the connected VEGA instrument via remote parameter adjustment. World-wide use is guaranteed through quad-band technology. Due to the optional battery operation, also measurements without complex installation costs are possible. The adjustment is carried out via PACTware/DTM by using the integrated USB connection.

FunctionAn individual HART sensor can be connected to PLICSRADIO T61. The measured value transmission is carried out exclusively via the digital HART protocol. At the same time, the device can also serve as power supply unit for the sensor. A PLICSRADIO R61/R62 available in the radio range retrieves the measured values of the connected sensor via radio communication. The measured values can be also displayed by a PLICSRADIO D61.

FunctionA PLICSRADIO D61 can display any measured value from the sensor connected to PLICSRADIO T61/T62. The prerequisite is that the measured value to be displayed is retrieved by a PLICSRADIO R61 or R62/C62. PLICSRADIO D61 is a purely passive radio participant that only reads the communication between a PLICSRADIO T61/T62 and a PLICSRADIO R61 or R62/C62 without itself initiating a measured value enquiry. For this purpose, PLICSRADIO D61 must be in the radio range of PLICSRADIO T61/T62.
