WINTER  KING  HAWTHORN

Attractive  rounded  habit,  with  almost  vase-­‐shaped  branching  structure  and  distinct  green  bloomy  stems.  The  fruits  are  larger  than  those  of  the  species,  and  are  a  good  red.  Less  susceptible  to  rust  than  other  hawthorns.

An  unusual  and  very  slow  growing  selection  with  green,  willow-­‐like  leaves.  These  leaves  turn  an  attractive  bronze  color  in  winter  and  can  stay  on  the  plant  until  the  following  spring.  The  most  dwarf  of  the  European  beeches  with  a  shrubby,  dense  habit.
