• 2.4 million girls do not go to school!

• 61% of adults are illiterate! Only 13% of adult females are literate.

• To being able to make informed decisions on your own, based on knowledge not someone else’s prejudices

What could they achieve?

To develop prosperity

Curriculum for Peace Subject Reason

Literacy To empower people with the ability to learn and decide for themselves

MFL – Mandarin, Spanish, English These are the three most common languages in the World and will allow them to communicate and trade

Maths As it is vital to everyday life and business

Business and ICT To enable business, trade and communication with the World

Science To enable development, medicine and invention

History Because it is from learning about mistakes of the past that helps us not to repeat them in the future.

Expressive arts To express feelings, emotions and culture in a positive and constructive way
