✽ Acquisitions

We specialise in providing a bespoke, discreet service that sources and secures the leading labels from the finest French chateaux in Bordeaux and Burgundy, through a network of reputable, merchants, brokers and French négociants as well as from private individuals with wine in bond allowing us to successfully acquire some of most sought after fine wine at competitive prices.Provenance is paramount when buying, selling or trading fine wine for appreciation or consumption. This ensures you have a genuine product in prime condition. The quality of this calibre of wine should always be excellent to retain value. This includes the presentation of the bottle and case. All wines sourced, supplied or from our stock or traded at The Brokerage, are in original wooden cases from the producing cha-teaux and have not been outside of Europe. It is our policy not to trade wine that has been removed from bond and cellared privately as the condition and provenance of wine held outside of a bonded facility cannot be verified or guaranteed.

✽ Discretionary Accounts

Discretionary Accounts for those professionals who have busy or demanding work schedules and lifestyles. These portfolio accounts cater for individuals that simply wish to deposit funds on account for a set period and return. An application to open Discretionary Account can only be made in person as there are a number of legal restrictions regarding client funds on account. We therefore need to complete a series of documents during a face-to-face meeting to define the terms and conditions of the account and the individual purpose and structure of the account. We are also required to take copies of original documentation for identification purposes in the presence of our legal representatives to ensure we adhere to the relevant money laundering. We highly recommend you hold your account for a period of either 3 years, 5 years, 7 years or 12 years, to provide short, medium and long-term holding options.

✽ Special Acquisitions

We pride ourselves on being able to source any wine on request. We will endeavour to source specially requested wine from any vineyard, winery or country for a client whether for personal consumption, an event or investment. Please note: Clients instructing The Brokerage to purchase duty paid stock from private cellars or auction are required to indemnify The Brokerage against any quality issues that may be found either in the quality of the wine or condition of the labels. Our policy is not to trade, buy or sell wine out of bond as a general trading practice as we cannot guarantee the provenance or condition the wine once stored outside of industry standard bond facilities.
