Career
At the age of 20 he wrote his first play Often takes part in his own plays as an
actor Owner and builder of the famous Globe
Theater in London Is known for his linguistic talents in his
plays („to hear a play“)
Works 38 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems,
and several other poems Most important works:
- Romeo and Juliet; 1595
- The Tragedy of Julius Caesar; 1599
- Hamlet, Prince of Denmark; 1601
- Othello; 1604
