1 Wisconsin Conservatory of Music LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT The holidays are upon us and music is in the air! Between our Performathon and the end of our fall semester there is always special music here – much of it made by our students in recital as they demonstrate to their family and friends what they have learned over the past several months. But students aren’t the only ones learning new things as we recently discovered that last season we served more people than ever! In collect- ing our statistics for the year, we learned that 19,630 people participated in a class, lesson or concert offered by the Conservatory. That includes 1,894 students who studied at one of our three branch locations, 4,320 students who received music instruction at their school from the Conservatory, and more than 13,000 people of all ages who attended one of our concerts here in the Helen Bader Recital Hall, or at one of a dozen schools and community venues. We were able to accomplish this because of generous support from people like you. Each year the Conservatory needs to raise 1/3 of its budget from individuals, foundations and corporations. Last year we met our fundraising goal and it is our great desire to meet and exceed this year’s goal of $745,000. We can assure you that each dollar is carefully spent to provide music education of surpassing qual- ity to deserving children, youth and adults throughout southeastern Wisconsin. One way you can support the Conservatory is by participating in our online Holiday Auction and Sale. The auction runs from November 29 to December 13 and is chock full of great items. Check it out at www.biddingforgood.com/ wcmusic. You’ll also see some lovely merchandise for sale in our lobby which will make ideal stocking stuffers. Enjoy the concert and best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season, Karen Deschere President/CEO The Conservatory of Music would like to thank the following sponsors for making all of these concerts possible. “Music for Every Stage” begins with your generosity...

LET TER FROM THE PRES IDENT

The holidays are upon us and music is in the air! Between our Performathon and the end of our fall semester there is always special music here – much of it made by our students in recital as they demonstrate to their family and friends what they have learned over the past several months.

But students aren’t the only ones learning new things as we recently discovered that last season we served more people than ever! In collect-ing our statistics for the year, we learned that 19,630 people participated in a class, lesson or concert offered by the Conservatory.

We can assure you that each dollar is carefully spent to provide music education of surpassing qual-ity to deserving children, youth and adults throughout southeastern Wisconsin.

One way you can support the Conservatory is by participating in our online Holiday Auction and Sale. The auction runs from November 29 to December 13 and is chock full of great items. Check it out at www.biddingforgood.com/wcmusic. You’ll also see some lovely merchandise for sale in our lobby which will make ideal stocking stuffers.

Enjoy the concert and best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season,
