All of the peer review documentation (referees’ reports, authors’ responses,

editors’ comments and the names of the reviewers) will be open and interlinked

to the published article.

• Increasingly thorough and constructive reviews will be provided by reviewers who are keen to be recognized in the public domain.

• As all review documents will be published, the back and forth discussion between reviewers and authors can add revealing and interesting context of the process for the reader, as experts with opposing views and theories hash out important issues.

• Reviewers will receive proper credit and recognition for the important work they contribute.

• Educational tool for the future The published reports and transparency of the review process will serve as great examples for young reviewers and graduate students.
