The family had many brothers and sisters. One day, one of the brothers set out to start a campaign in their local village to stop the rampant bad practice of sleepwalking and body sniffing in the night that had cropped up in the village. This concerned brother, also wanted justice and help for the families and individuals affected or abused by the sleepwalkers. Unfortunately, in the process, to everyone’s shock, one of his very own brothers was implicated. Could a son of such a prominent man and from such a family, be a sleepwalker and body sniffer? People whispered and some lamented. The rumors seized to be whispers and it became a great talk and scandal in the God loving family and the entire village. To some villagers it was a great opportunity to mock and get back to the so-called God-loving family while to others it was so shameful.  The accused brother vehemently denied any involvement in such bad practices and blamed his concerned brother for such malicious allegations. He vowed to prove his innocence and that one day his brother would regret the incidence.  The concerned brother also became very passionate about his cause, for indeed, he had touched on an issue that many people had suffered from all along but in silence for fear of being exposed. A sleepwalker, awkwardly walks in the night sniffing people’s bodies and bites his or her victim’s fingers and toes. Male sleepwalkers would seek males and female look for female sleepwalkers. It was such an abominable practice and shameful to both the hunter and the victim. Eventually, the local council of the village had to intervene. However, the majority of the members on the council were great friends of the accused brother, they sympathized with him and for lack of evidence as required legally, they ruled in his favor. This greatly frustrated the concerned brother who hardly got any support from the council members, to the extent that he was then called the bad person and the victims he was supporting were called liars by the local authorities. To his relief, the village chief realized the gravity and scope of the despicable practice that he requested the council members to come up with preventive measures. Meanwhile, back in their home, the saga divided the family; some members of the family supported the accused and others the concerned one. While others openly accused the concerned one for being a troublemaker, acting out of jealous, and a few just kept quiet. Two brothers could no longer face each other, great enmity and strife followed. The Big Dilemma Interestingly, both brothers and their different supporters all looked to their Father for justice and support. The concerned brother was fighting for the repute of the family and wanted His Father’s house clean, he was totally convinced that he was on track and indeed, the Father commended his efforts. The concerned brother demanded repentance from the accused brother.  The accused brother also knew that, he was good and clean in the eyes of his Father. He petitioned to the Father for justice and His wrath on all who had spoiled his reputation. Indeed, the Father loved his son and promised that He would never forsake him. The accused brother also demanded repentance from his concerned brother.   The Father loved both His sons so dearly and had fond memories and plans for each. He knew both His sons so well, and to Him nothing was shockingly new and none of His two sons were perfect, but He loved them any way.
