The goal of this project was to redesign an existing space into a multipurpose space

containing a retail store on the first floor, and a coffee/fondue restaurant on the

second floor. Great attention was paid to the mezzanine and how the two areas

HARMONY HEALING CENTERThis rehabilitation center was designed for the Wounded Warriors Project, which

aids veterans with physical, emotional, and mental issues. This building caters to

the specific needs of soldiers and their families in a way other rehabilitation centers

cannot. Using the concept of Yin and Yang, which dictates that the body needs

to be one with nature, a structure was developed that allowed maximum daylight

while maintaining the user’s sense of privacy.
