Which ball will go the highest
Big Question
• My big question was which ball will go the highest.
• Soccer ball (kick, throw)• Football (kick, throw) • Tennis ball (throw)
• The reason I did this experiment was because I wanted to know if weight would effect how high a ball goes.
Hypothesis
• My hypothesis is that the soccer ball will go the highest.
• I chose this because a soccer ball is meant to be kicked.

Experiment
• Step 1 : get items “soccer ball, football, tennis ball”.• Step 2 : measure how high the house is.• Step 3 : kick soccer ball and see how high the ball goes
(refer to the house).• Step 4 : repeat 3 times to get average. • Step 5 : do again with football. • Step 6 : throw soccer ball and see how high it goes (refer
to the house) • Step 7 : repeat 3 times to get average. • Step 8 : do again with football and tennis ball
Control & Variables
• There was no control control was. • The variables: soccer ball (kick, throw) football (kick, throw) tennis ball (kick, throw)
Observations
• #1 : The heaviest ball (soccer ball) traveled less height.
• #2 : The lightest ball (tennis ball) traveled the most height.
• #3 : The medium weight ball (football) traveled medium height to the tennis ball.
• #4 : More force caused the balls to go higher.

Analysis
• The Tennis Ball went the highest because of its lightest weight.
• The medium angle achieved the maximum distance.
• The Soccer Ball went the least distance because of the highest weight.
Conclusion
• My hypothesis was incorrect.• I would change the football to a basket ball
and I would change the height to distance. • My new question are: in distance would
weigh matter and does it matter from what angle you kick.
