VisionStatement

We believe we have a New Birth through the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and being infused with the power of the Holy Spirit, we now live a New Life of excellence and integrity. As we exemplify the life of Christ, His Spirit ignites us to disciple our global community by the manifestation of His love.

"There are three

conversions necessary: The conversion of the heart, the

mind, and purse.”

The purpose for today’s teaching is to attempt to convert and adjust your thinking on the subject of money from a biblical stance. For others, my purpose is simply affirming their biblical position on the subject of money.

It is worth noting that in the bible, money is such an important topic that …

It is the main subject of nearly half of the parables Jesus told 1 in every 7 verses in the New Testament deals with

money. There are 500 verses on prayer, less than 500 verses on faith, and more than 2,000 verses on

money.15% of everything Jesus ever taught was on the topic of money and possessions, more than His teachings on

heaven and hell combined!

Why does the “Bread of Life” place so much emphasis on money and possessions? Answer: There is a fundamental connection

between our spiritual lives and how we think about and

handle money.

The Bread of Life explains…

1. That your commitment is in direct proportion to where your dough (money) is spent. (See Matt 6:21)

2. That you should invest your dough in heaven. (See Matt 6:19-20)

“Well pastor after hearing you speak about giving to the

church, what should I give?”Answer: Here at New Birth our interpretation from the Word of God is that you should regularly give the Tithe

and a Freewill Offering to God.

Tithe - means a tenth

Freewill Offering - an offering of gratitude from the heart

10% is a simple calculation, it’s as simple

as moving the decimal point. What is the tithe

on…$100.00 / $10.00

$482.00 / $48.20

Abraham commenced it (Gen 14:17-20)

Moses commanded it (Lev 27:30-32)Malachi confirmed it (Mal 3:8-12)

Jacob continued it (Gen 14:17-20)

Jesus commended it (Matt 23:23)
