What I Did: Documenting and Presenting the Physical Project So what did you do for your Senior Project? You are required to spend 15 hours working toward your Physical Project. In your Physical Project, you create, build or become something over the course of approximately five months. My visitation? Youre looking at it. Your Best Friend: Your Project Log Use your Project Log to document all of the work you do on your Senior Project including the Physical Project. Connections Your Physical Project should be connected to the topic of your Research Paper. For example, if your Research Paper documents the effects of social media on adolescents, then your Physical Project could be A survey documenting ways in which social media use affects the emotional states of your classmates A journal documenting your own experience with social media A record of your own experience hosting a schoolwide social media site Connections Your Presentation will be an opportunity for you to demonstrate what you have learned during the course of your Senior Project both in your Research Paper and through work on your Physical Project. Show Off Your Skills You could do this by demonstrating the skills you have developed through work on your physical project. This could include a demonstration of the product you created. What are some Techniques that Crime scene investigators use to collect evidence and solve crimes? Collecting Evidence at a Crime Scene Analyzing Evidence at a Crime Lab Presenting the Evidence to Solve the Crime MY QUESTION What are the skills and tools you need to become a photographer? Why did I pick it? What did I learn? Shutter Speed Ballistics For my visitation, I went with my friends Kyle & Cole to the gun range to show the different types of bullets and guns. And how it is important to know the type of bullet to find the gun which can narrow down the list of suspects. Describe the Process Explain the steps you went through to complete your Physical Project. This is especially useful if you are going through a process of self-transformation taking on a physical fitness challenge, becoming a firefighter or learning a martial art, for example. This depends upon your keeping careful records throughout the project especially in your Project Log! Bruce Waynes Senior Project was awesome. Getting a coaching a license What league to coach Different age groups What gender to coach Steps in becoming a soccer coach The purpose. To see how soccer is from a another view point. Not just soccer players, but also coaches are also very passionate. Wanted to see if I could be a role model to other people Review and Reflect Recap what youve done during the last five months, and what youve learned or thought about during the process. This could be useful for broad or wide-ranging topics, such as What does it mean to be a feminist? or How can I discover my lifes purpose? In my Senior Project, I discovered that children and dogs are not the best choice to command a World War I tank. Conclusion Over the past 5 months, I have learned that police work is not for everyone. Being a police officer is a stressful but exciting career I learned more about the police academy and how difficult it is to get into the academy and stay in it. I learned more about the officers that I work with through interviews, the Clayton Police station through my Visitation. Combination In presenting your project, youll want to be able to say: What you did (in as much detail as possible) Why you did it How things changed over time What you learned (both in terms of skills and understanding) FYI: Dont destroy your mentor in a lightsaber duel.
