What do I have to share with the world?

Excitement about organizing and creating a wonderful space in the world foryourself and your family. Its not just about home, and things, and time. Its

about creating a space in the universe from which a warm glow emits. When

you walk, you walk in light, when you come home, it hugs you. Its aboutfeeling in control without being controlling, its about sharing and givingwithout being a door mat or a slave, its about sacrifice and service. Its aboutthat warm flicker of a candlelight, its about making home who you are ratherthan just a place you live, its about childrens giggles, warm meals, good drink,a comfy place to sta in a world thats not always kind. Its about humanity andthe negery that humans produce. ITs good energy. I love humans, I believe inus. I love feel-good. I believe in times when people step up and step out. ITsabout finding a way to get things done and enjoy getting thiem done, and stillhaving time leftover to do even more enjoyable things! It can be done. Its aboutbelieveing that kids dont suck you of life, they give it, they are the greatest

investment. Invest well and wholly of time, money and soul. They are yourlegacy and gift to the community. I believe in community, the neighborhood, the city, the country the world, the community of humanity. I feel excited whenI can share with people how to get things done. I feel excited that I have worked

so hard to overcome depression and anxiety without medication. That I amsuccessfully mothering 5 children and teaching them how to run a household.

I am a mother of 5 who has overcome depression and anxiety to create asucessful and excited model of household management. I have thought of more

ways to tackle routine chores than anyone Ive ever known! Its necessary whenthe vast majority of your day it relegated to doing boring, underappreciated,

unplesant work that MUST be done that you have a multitude of ways toattack the problem.

I think you can be whoever you want to be and be a wonderful homemaker. And this includes those women who have a career, youre homemakers too. What else is a mother, but a homemaker? Whether you open a can of ChefBoyardee, or spend an hour stewing up a homemade concoction, there is a lovein the homemakers house, and its love that we need most of all.

Rape, pillage THEN burnits humorous, but we can also learn a lesson here.A lesson in despatchingthe order in which we do things. Sometimes we shoot

ourselves in the foot by doing things in the wrong order. How many imte shaveI come downstairs, and in the middle of getting the kids ready and off to schoolI see dirty dishes form the night befor eand start washing themI throw off the

whole schedule and end up being late.

Make your household a warm glow for yourself. Do the best you can. There arealways obstacles, but obstacles form opportunities to be awesome. Withoutobstacles were nothing. Its our obstacles that form us, that define us, that

make us unique, that bond us, that cleave us. Overcome. Bound. Leap. Shoorfor the stars. Shoot for the moon. Shoot for the tree tops. Shoot for the button

    on the coffee maker.

Enjoy life right now. Find a way to do it.

Trees and what they mean. Trees mean seasons. They show me the weather, they shift and shake in the breeze. They smell good.

    Why a Viking Household

As Ive gotten older Ive developed an interest in genealogy. My fathers parentscame from a small island in the baltic sea called Aland. It is now an

autonomous province of Finaldn, but it is culturally and linguistically Swedish. It was inhabited by Vikings, and was the home as far back as I can of myfathers paternal line. Am I related to Vikings? Ill never know for sure, but it

seems likely. And I am intrigued by the Norse mythology. Its my own personaldefinition and connotation of Viking, rather than any realistic notion. I like the

idea of strength, resiliance, fortitudea bit of bad-assand well just ignorethat bit about raping and pillaging shall we?

    The Viking Household Credo.

    Strength, resiliance, fortitude, planning, execution.
