Prairie Potholes

The prairie potholes are effected by the chemicals that run into it from the agricultural surrounding it.

We should preserve the potholes instead of the agricultural lands that are surrounding it.

The farmers and ranchers that own the land use and destroyed them to use for crops.

We shouldn’t give the farmers so much incentive to use the areas for cropland.

Forested Wetlands

The forested wetlands are effected by the humans that cut down the trees for logging.

Preserve the trees.

The water has been drained for crops to farm.

Don’t drain the water.

Coastal wetlands are impacted from the urbanization from people moving into the area.

Save the wetlands from the urbanization.

Creating roads and draining the water is also bad for coastal wetlands.

We don’t need roads on every acre so we don’t need to make any more roads.

Native Prairies

People have been using the native prairies to plant crops.

We should leave it alone for the wildlife.

Many areas in the south have lost many native prairies.

We should preserve the land instead of letting other destroy it.

America’s Forests

Many forests have been polluted by humans.

Don’t be disrespectful to the forest land.

Less than one quarter of original forests still are forests because of human colonization.

We should find a different place to live.
