• Slurry is a mixture of rockdust and water• When mixed, slurry can be compared to a runny
mixture of cement.• This mixture is sprayed onto the roof, ribs and
floor through nozzles.• Spraying can be done manually through a single
wand similar to a pressure washer.• Entry dusting is achieved through a series of
nozzles. As the operator trams the entire entry is coated.
• NO AIRBORNE DUST
• DUST IN THE INTAKE WITH MEN INBY
• MORE COVERAGE WITH LESS DUST
• ADHERES TO THE TOP AND RIBS BETTER THAN DRY DUST
• LONGER LASTING, GO LONGER BETWEEN DUSTING
• EASY MIXING AND QUICK CLEANUP
• One 50# bag of dust requires approximately 2.8 gallons of water
• A 50Lb. bag of dust will make 10 gallon of slurry
• Each gallon of slurry will cover roughly 50 square feet

NOTE: MIXTURES
Example:
• FOR APPLYING SLURRY OR SEALANT COMPOUND• MOUNTS TO BOLTERS, SCOOPS, MINERS OR OTHER EQUIPMENT• UTILIZES A PROGRESSIVE CAVITY PUMP (NOT A PISTON PUMP)• REQUIRES 5 GPM @ 1200 PSI• DISTRIBUTES 3-5 GPM @ 400 PSI PUMP DISCHARGE PRESSURE• HOPPER CAPACITY 26 GALLONS, PROVIDES 1300 SQ. FT. OF SLURRY COVERAGE• MIXING IS ACHIEVED BY RECIRCULATING THE HOPPER MATERIAL• 64” LONG, 36” WIDE, 26” HIGH
• 250 GALLON SLURRY CAPCITY, SLIDES IN SCOOP BUCKET• P.T.O. OPERATED, 12 G.P.M. AT 1500 PSI REQUIRED• 25 BAGS OF DUST, 70 GALLONS OF WATER• 12,500 SQ. FT. COVERAGE• DISCHARGE RATE 6-12 G.P.M.• OPTIONAL 215 GAL. WATER TANK SHOWN, STORES ENOUGH WATER FOR THREE EXTRA BATCHES OF SLURRY
• FILL TANK WITH WATER UP TO THE LEVEL INDICATOR (APP. 70 GAL.)
• TURN ON HYDRAULIC MIXERS• ADD 25 BAGS OF DUST THROUGH THE METAL
GRATING
• Hydraulic mixers in the tank mix the rockdust and water into a slurry
•THE SLURRY CAN NOW BE SPRAYED ONTO THE ROOF AND RIBS THROUGH A WAND
• Empty the machine of slurry
• Add clean water to hopper until mixers are covered
• Start the machine and spray until clear water is discharged from the nozzle
• Turn machine off and store
• 500 Gallon Hydraulic Slurry Bucket Unit
• 1,800 Gallon Capacity• Rail Mounted• Diesel Powered• Entry nozzles (Tram and coat roof and ribs)• Up to 300 ft. of hose for manual spraying
