GEDIMINAS’ CASTLEGEDIMINAS’ CASTLEGediminas’ castle stands on the Gediminas’ mountain. Near the mountain there ara two rivers Neris and Vilnia. There are lots of trees around the castle.

dreamed an iron wolf. The wolf was on a mountain. It roared like a hundred wolfs.

When Gediminas woke up, he went to the wizard - Lizdeika. Gediminas told about his dream. When Lizdeika heard the dream, he said:

‘The big and famous city will be built on the mountain where the wolf stood.’

Gediminas built the castle and the city, which are big and famous. This city is Vilnius.
