ANTHEM Look at the World by John Rutter Look at the world, everything all around us. Look at the world, and marvel everyday. Look at the world: so many joys and wonders, so many miracles along the way. Praise to thee, O Lord, for all creation, give us thankful hearts, that we may see: All the gifts we share, and every blessing, all things come of thee. Every good gift, all that we need and cher-ish comes from the Lord in token of His love; We are His hands, stewards of all His bounty; His is the earth, and His the heavens above.

PASTORAL PRAYER Rev. Josh Hickman

The Lord be with you.

And also with you.

Let us pray.

THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER RESPONSE Give Ear Unto Our Prayer, O God arr. Hal Hopson OFFERTORY HYMN NO. 561 Jesus, United by Thy Grace ST. AGNES

Stanzas 1, 2, 6 Jesus, united by thy grace and each to each endeared, with confidence we seek thy face and know our prayer is heard. Help us to help each other, Lord, each other's cross to bear; let all their friendly aid afford, and feel each other's care. This is the bond of perfectness, thy spotless charity; O let us, still we pray, possess the mind that was in thee.

STEWARDSHIP SPEAKER Jason Sgarlata

*OFFERTORY PRAYER Ashley Green OFFERING OUR GIFTS TO GOD Please give the Friendship Pad slips to the usher as the offering is received. OFFERTORY Offertory by John Ness Beck

With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, shall I come before Him with yearling calves? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give Him my first born for my transgressions, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has shown you, O man; He has shown what is good. And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

*DOXOLOGY LASST UNS ERFREUEN Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; praise God, all creatures here below: Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise God, the source of all our gifts! Praise Jesus Christ, whose power uplifts! Praise the Spirit, Holy Spirit! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

SCRIPTURE Mark 12:28-34 Ashley Green (Pew Bible, NT, p. 49) SERMON In Everything, Give Thanks Rev. Randy Allen “Love and Generosity” *HYMN OF DEDICATION NO. 408 The Gift of Love GIFT OF LOVE

All Stanzas Though I may speak with bravest fire, and have the gift to all inspire, and have not love, my words are vain, as sounding brass, and hopeless gain. Though I may give all I possess, and striving so my love profess, but not be given by love within, the profit soon turns strangely thin. Come, Spirit, come, our hearts control, our spirits long to be made whole. Let inward love guide every deed; by this we worship, and are freed.

*BENEDICTION Rev. Randy Allen BENEDICTION RESPONSE God Be In My Head arr. John Rutter

POSTLUDE Sonata Dominico Scarlatti * Congregation Standing. Please silence all pagers and cell phones.

AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed Rev. Josh Hickman I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

*GLORIA PATRI Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

*PASSING OF THE PEACE Rev. Josh Hickman Let us offer one another signs of reconciliation and love.
