Inside the houses Inside the houses there is normally a fire place is the middle, beds built into the wall and stone shelves called a dresser. The dresser was in front of you when you walk in, possibly to show off special tools or prize possessions. The shape of the older houses were circles but the shape off the newer house were a rectangle shape with curved corners. The doors and the windows could be bolted shut.
