Awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta with the intent of being admitted to the School of Business, BCom degree program, the following year. Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extracurricular and community activities and academic standing. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative through active involvement in Junior Achievement or through other employment or community service. This award is renewable for three additional years provided the student maintains superior academic achievement on a full normal course load and is successful in securing admission to the School of Business.

Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic standing and a demonstrated financial need.
