Our high-performance dies achieve a production speed of up to 4.000 spm on specially designed high speed presses.

We are specialized in high-performance progressive punching dies, “in-die” part assembly and progressive stacking dies as well as in satisfying other customized requirements. The modular design of the plug-in technology and fully integrated die monitoring systems are the standard at Hölzel‘s. All active elements are manufactured in series from tungsten carbide. However, ceramic items may also be employed as cutting and/or guiding elements, depending on the material thickness and the stroke rate. This allows blanking without lubrication, at higher stroke rates and over longer production runs.

The modular die design according to the Hölzel standard reduces the development and manufacturing input to a minimum. The manufacturing department has a stock of more than 150 internal Hölzel standard parts at its disposal which will decrease the processing time until die completion considerably.

If a lower number of stamping parts is required, we can offer our customers Hölzel-owned universal dies, thus allowing the customer to benefit from Hölzel‘s usual precision and quality at a reaso-nable price in relation to the number of pieces processed.

Spares can be speedily replaced without any rework. Depending on the actual situation, Hölzel guarantees a service life of up to 30 mill strokes for its dies after the relevant maintenance intervals.

Our capacity - your success

Precision machining is a wide-ranging field in which Hölzel represents the extension of your own facility on the one hand and turns complete customer designs into production on the other.

We manufacture on the basis of your drawings and specifications or develop your ideas jointly with you from their introduction into production right thru to the finished product.

You will benefit from our skills and resources in the development department, in tool manufacturing and in the production of stamping parts. Do make use of our tool-making capacities by out-sourcing jobs on CMT basis. Moreover, we will manufacture spares for your own dies on the basis of your drawings.

Hölzel manufactures mechanical components from the minimum number of 1 up to medium-sized series, either as single units or parts completely fitted into assemblies.

When it comes to complementing our techniques by heat treatment and plating processes, we can rely on the long-standing business relations with our supplier base.

We process high-alloy tool steel, tungsten carbide and ceramic as well as all kinds of non-ferritic and ferritic metals for sheet metal processing.

The degree of accuracy achieved with the relevant surface quality is better than 0.002 mm.

The production department for stamping parts employs experienced die makers in three shifts who operate the most advanced automatic high-speed punching presses.

The production department is equipped with:

l automatic punching presses from Bruderer with a tool length of up to 1.100 mm, a compressive force of 500 kN and a state-of-the-art peripheryl automatic punching presses from Yamada Dobby with a maximum rate of 2.500 spml image processing systems for a 100% control of the stamping partsl C-molding presses with up to 800 kN for the production of small series

Product quality is continuously monitored in an air-conditioned measuring room by way of a CAQ system. This is further supported by high-precision measuring instruments and the latest data processing systems.

Hölzel does not only solve the most difficult problems in the fields of project consulting, prototype manufacturing and others, it also satisfies the most demanding customer requirements with great reliability at the same time.

In the field of progressive stacking engineering, Hölzel has developed a solution by which productivity is increased a 100% as compared with conventional stamping tools. A patented technique for the in-feed and discharge of stacking punches will allow output rates of up to 1.400 spm.

Hölzel develops and manufactures modularly designed progressive stacking dies for lengths of up to 1.100 mm and a press force of up to 500 kN, in single or multi-row.

We combine the demands made on progressive stacking dies with the benefits of a modular feed-in technology.

This makes it possible to manufacture products with similar features or with a comparable size in a single progressive stacking die, either by using retrofitting kits or exchangeable modules.

The modular design of the dies based on Hölzel standards will reduce the development and manufacturing input to a minimum.

The manufacturing department has a stock of over 150 internal Hölzel standard parts at its disposal. This also decreases the processing time until tool completion considerably.
