This year FHS received $33,000 to support technology, additional class sections, counseling and/or supervision.

Thank you for your generosity. The math dept received $8,000 in donations from the parent letter send out at the end of August.

Money will be applied to updating technology and class materials that include, but not limited to: LCD projectors, printer paper, toner, markers, calculators, calculator batteries, Scantrons, photocopies, etc.

Homework

Usually assigned daily. See website. Homework assigned from Fri-Thurs is

turn in the following Monday. Students correct their own assignments

before submitting them.

thinking literacy - writing and reading about math discovery learning multi-step problems ( depth of

knowledge) Different style assessments

This year is a transition year to CC District level teams will be doing work

this year on: Instructional strategies Curriculum mapping Formative and benchmark assessments
